The challenge window runs 23 August 2026. Only Dragy times recorded during this window will be counted.
All times must be submitted before 8:00 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time on Sunday 23 August.
Who Can Enter
Anyone, anywhere in the world. You do not need to be attending AUS PEV Nationals to take part.
How It Works
Set up the 15m Mini Grid using cones or markers on a flat, smooth surface. Practice whenever you like, but only Dragy times recorded during the challenge window will count.
To win, you must submit both a clockwise and a counterclockwise time. The winner is the rider with the lowest combined time.

How to Submit
Use the submission form on this site. Fill in your details, enter your CW and CCW times, and upload your Dragy screenshots as evidence.
The AUS PEV committee will review all submitted results and announce the winner after the deadline.

Fastest submitted time becomes the
2026 AUS PEV Mini Grid Champion.

FAQ
Do I have to use Dragy for timing?
Dragy has been good enough to Sponsor AUS PEV 2026 as our official timing partner, so this is our preference. If you, at home, do not have a Dragy, you can still participate using other, high accuracy timing systems, like Racebox. Phone GPS will not be accepted as it is too inaccurate. You may use other apps, such as RaceChrono, Electric Racing Life, etc. with Dragy or Racebox, of course.
Can I use my phone for timing?
No, phone GPS will not be accepted as it is too inaccurate. Phone GPS generally runs at an accuracy of between 5-10 metres, which is far too inaccurate for race timing. You must use a high accuracy timing system like Dragy or Racebox, GPS at 10Hz or above. Lapmonitor IR systems do not allow track verification so we cannot accept Lapmonitor IR times. You may use other apps, such as RaceChrono, Electric Racing Life, etc. with Dragy or Racebox, of course.
Where can I see the results?
The results will be published on the AUS PEV website and social media channels shortly after the challenge window closes, to ensure novice riders are not deterred by seeing top times. Results will not be available until verified. Winners will be contacted directly via the email address provided in their submission and applauded on social media.
I am having technical issues submitting my times to this site
If you have genuinely attempted to submit times to this site and not been able to do so, you may submit directly to AUS PEV via Instagram messages. Please only do this as a last resort as, while running the event, we may not see these times.

Ride at your own risk. Remote Mini Grid attempts are not covered by AUS PEV event insurance. Ride within your own abilities, in places where you are permitted, and be safe. AUS PEV does not condone unsafe or illegal behaviour.
